SourceDem Lake is an open site among fir trees in the Fort St. James area, with a lake at the door and not much else in the way of development. That is most of the appeal.
The boat launch is rough enough that cartop boats are the sensible limit, so leave the trailer at home. There are 6 sites, first come, first served, on gravel.
Pinchi is about 23 km away. No fuel stop is listed nearby, so leave town with the tank full. Dolphin Lake is about 6 km off.
