SourceAn abandoned mill site in the Fort St. James area now holds a small open camp above Nendatoo Lake. The lake was renamed to Nendatoo as part of BC's work to replace derogatory place names, so older maps and signs may still carry the old one.
The 4 sites run first come, first served, on gravel access. A cartop launch is the way onto the water, so this suits a canoe or a small aluminum boat rather than anything you back down a ramp.
The lake is about 1.6 km from camp. Pinchi is roughly 42 km away, which makes this a load-up-first trip: fuel, food and water all sorted before you leave.
