About this site
SourceClose to Highway 97 in the Mackenzie area, Kennedy Lake is the kind of site you can reach late and still get set up. One camping party fits, with extra parking for day users.
You get a pit toilet, a table and a fire ring, gravel access, and a natural launch that suits a car-top boat. It is first come, first served, and the lake is right there.
Mackenzie Junction and its gas station are both about 9 km away, so top up there rather than counting on anything closer. The town of Mackenzie, about 30 km on, has 33 mountain bike trails.
