About this site
SourceGetting to Firth Lake is the hard part. A 2 km trail drops about 200 metres from the road down to the lake edge, and it turns difficult in the wet, so this is a fishing trip for people who like earning it.
The drive in needs four wheel drive, and camping is first come, first served. No facilities are provided and the site is user-maintained, so everything you need comes in on your back.
McLeod Lake and the Tse'Khene food and fuel stop are both about 26 km away, and that is where the pumps are. Cat Lake is about 12 km off.
