About this site
SourceThe beach at Augier Lake is gravel and sand rather than mud, which makes the swimming better than at most lakes in the Burns Lake area. The site runs along the north shore, with paddling, fishing and picnics all off the same stretch.
There are 11 sites, first come, first served, with a gravel boat launch and gravel access. Several fish species live in the lake, so it works for a casual line as much as a serious morning.
Donald Landing is about 5 km away, but fuel is about 22 km out, so get gas while you are still on the main road. The Bulkley Nechako trails are about 10 km away for a ride.
