About this site
SourceCougar Creek Recreation Site puts you on Tlupana Inlet with Nootka Sound beyond, among towering red cedar, with a mix of forest and ocean-facing sites. Recent pier upgrades have made getting on the water easier, and anglers and kayakers are the regulars here.
The site has 65 first come, first served sites at $15 a night, reached on gravel road out of the Gold River area.
This is end-of-the-road country. Yuquot, the closest listed community, is about 19 km away and the nearest fuel is about 27 km, so arrive with a full tank, full water and full coolers.
