SourceBig balsam and hemlock line the shore at Nahwitti Lake, and the site sits right off the Holberg Road, which makes it a straightforward overnight heading out to Cape Scott or San Joseph Bay or coming back. Swimming, fishing and a boat launch are all at the water.
Eight sites, first come, first served, on gravel access. It is user-maintained, so leave it in better shape than you found it.
Holberg is about 12 km away, but the nearest fuel is roughly 26 km off, so fill up before you turn down the road. The Nahwitti River Trail starts about 3.5 km away, Nahshutti Lake is about 6 km, and the Shushartie Bay trailhead about 17 km.
