About this site
SourceCat Lake Recreation Site rings a small lake near Squamish with walk-in campsites, so you carry your gear the last stretch and camp by the water rather than beside your bumper. Swimming and fishing happen right below the tents.
All 48 sites are first come, first served at $18 a night, no reservations, with gravel access to the parking. Bears are a known problem here: keep coolers in the vehicle or use the on-site caches, and never leave food or garbage out.
Brohm Lake's interpretive forest trails are about 2 km away, the Alice Lakes trailhead about 3 km, and Squamish, with 293 mountain bike trails and full services, is about 12 km. Fuel is about 5 km out.
