SourceA broad sandy beach in the Comox Valley does most of the work at Miracle Beach Provincial Park. Low tide leaves pools full of small marine life, the kind kids lose an afternoon to, and forest trails run behind the campground for when you want shade instead of sand.
The park lists 201 sites, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved roads. Fire pits, pit toilets and drinking water are standard, hot showers are on site, and there is group camping, a playground and a picnic area above the water.
Miracle Beach is about 1.3 km away and fuel about 2.8 km. The Driftwood Road beach access is about 1.6 km, Northy Lake about 5.7 km, and Campbell River's 277 mountain bike trails about 23 km.
