Esowista is about 0.7 km up the road, but fuel means a longer run: the Gas N Go is about 10.6 km out, so top it up when you pass.
Mallard Lake is about 5.8 km away and Clayoquot Arm Beach about 13.9 km if you want a change of scene from the trailhead.
