Free camping near Hope, first come, first served. FVDRA Campground has 15 sites, fire pits and room for RVs, all reached on pavement.
There is no nightly fee, which makes it a useful option when the trip budget is already spoken for.
Supplies are close on both counts: Dogwood Valley and a Petro-Canada are each about 2.6 km away, so you can pull in with an empty cooler and fix that in one trip. Klahater Lake is about 3.7 km from camp.
