Access is paved, but supplies are a drive: Lone Butte and its Esso are both about 15.8 km away, so treat Lone Butte as the last stop.
Wilkinson Lake is about 3.3 km from camp, and the Begbie Fire Lookout about 13.7 km if you want a viewpoint to aim at.
