About this site

Source

Beaumont Provincial Park sits on the Nechako Plateau with the Hazelton, Skeena and Omineca mountains standing to the west and north. The sandy beach is the park's centre of gravity, made for swimming and long unhurried afternoons.

About 54 sites are listed, some reservable and some first come, first served, on paved access, and the park now offers walk-in sites with beach access, each with its own fire ring and picnic table. A boat launch, fishing, hiking and biking round it out, and the Fraser Mountain trailhead is about a kilometre away.

Fort Fraser is about 4 km off, with the nearest listed fuel under 3 km, so short trips stay short.
