About this site
SourceSx̱ótsaqel / Chilliwack Lake Park sits 150 km east of Vancouver at the top of the Chilliwack River valley, where a valley-bottom lake meets old-growth forest and subalpine ridges. The lake takes motorboats, canoes and kayaks, and the swimming and fishing are the reason most people come.
The campground has 182 frontcountry sites, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved road, plus a playground. About 40 km of trails run through the park, and backcountry camps at Greendrop, Lindeman, Flora and Radium Lakes reward the effort. The Radium Lake trailhead is about 3.5 km from camp.
Services are back down the valley: Bridal Falls and the nearest gas are both about 26 km, so fuel up on the way in.
