About this site
SourceCrooked River Provincial Park protects three lakes and a stretch of gentle, rolling country an hour north of Prince George. Bear Lake's fine sandy beaches, 500 m from camp, offer some of the best swimming in the region, and the cold Livingston Springs run year-round.
About 65 sites are listed, some reservable and some first come, first served, on paved access. Fishing, hiking and nature-watching fill the days, and the walk to Square Lake or along the Crooked River follows a route early travellers used long before the highway.
The community of Bear Lake sits under 3 km away with the nearest listed fuel, so restocking is painless.
