About this site
SourceE.C. Manning Provincial Park covers a huge stretch of the Cascade Mountains, about three hours from both Vancouver and the Okanagan. Easy highway access and hugely varied terrain are why it stays one of the most visited parks in BC.
Camping is spread across four drive-in campgrounds with roughly 450 vehicle-accessible sites, some reservable and some first come, first served, plus plenty of backcountry options. The road in is paved. Expect pit toilets, potable water and fire pits, with swimming, fishing, a boat launch, and hiking and biking from camp.
The Manning Park resort area 8 km away covers the basics, but the nearest gas is about 18 km out, so arrive with a full tank. Twenty Minute Lake sits 6 km away for a quick paddle, and trails range from 15-minute walks to six-day backcountry trips.
