About this site

Source

Porpoise Bay Provincial Park sits on Sechelt Inlet where the isthmus at Sechelt pinches it off from the Strait of Georgia. Second-growth forest, open grass and a sandy beach make it a long-standing family favourite, and paddlers use it as the launching point for exploring the inlet.

About 94 sites are listed, a mix of reservable and first come, first served, on paved access. Swimming, fishing, hiking and biking cover the basics, and the Sechelt Heritage Forest is 2 km away.

Sechelt itself is about 4 km for supplies, with fuel closer still. Riders get spoiled here: the Sunshine Coast network, 693 trails of it, starts about 4 km from camp.
