About this site

Source

Gwillim Lake Provincial Park is a genuinely peaceful lake camp in the Rocky Mountain foothills, with a viewpoint that opens into a panoramic sweep of the range. It sits on Highway 29 about half an hour from both Chetwynd and Tumbler Ridge.

About 50 sites are listed, some reservable and some first come, first served, on paved access. Canoeing, kayaking, swimming, hiking and fishing cover the daylight hours.

Services need forethought: the nearest listed fuel is about 37 km, so fill up in Chetwynd or Tumbler Ridge before turning in.
