About this site
SourcePhilip Creek is a stopover more than a destination, and the site is honest about that: an open flat above the creek in the Mackenzie area, with tables, fire rings and an outhouse.
There are 2 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access. The fire rings are the extent of the infrastructure, and the creek gives you somewhere to throw a line.
McLeod Lake is the nearest town at about 38 km, with the Co-op about 37 km off, so arrive with a full tank. Witter Lake is about 6 km away if you want water bigger than a creek.
