About this site
SourceThe 2 km low mobility loop around Isobel Lake, with benches to rest on and picnic tables along the way, makes this one of the easier rec sites to bring anyone to. It is part of the Isobel Lake Interpretive Forest and sees use year round.
There are 19 sites at $15 a night, first come, first served on gravel, with a boat launch and a group shelter.
A Petro-Canada is about 8 km out, which counts as handy here, and Kamloops with its 272 mountain bike trails is about 20 km. Griffin Lake is about 2.5 km away and the Lac Du Bois ORV area about 13 km.
