About this site
SourceCabin Lake sits in subalpine country in the Merritt area, with the water about 0.2 km from camp and walking routes into the high ground close by. It is also a First Nations cultural site, used from time to time for small gatherings, so camp with a light touch.
There are 3 spots here, first come, first served, and the road in wants a 4x4. The site is user maintained, and motorized recreation vehicles are not welcome in summer.
Canyon Alpine is the nearest town at about 18 km, and a Fas Gas about 20 km out is the closest place to fill up, so make it your last errand.
