About this site

Source

This is the only campground on Cariboo Lake, sitting above the east shore near Likely. Boats go in here, though the launch is long and steep and a 4x4 helps. Hunters lean on it heavily in the fall, so an autumn trip may mean company.

Six sites on gravel, first come, first served. It also works as a base for poking around the old Cariboo goldrush country.

Keithley Creek is about 8 km off, but fuel is a long way out: the Wells Service Station is roughly 39 km, so fill up before you commit to the road in. The Yanks Peak trailhead is about 6 km from camp and Rollie Lake about 16 km.
