About this site
SourceA big gravel beach on the north shore of Quesnel Lake is the draw here, with most of the camping set back under cottonwoods, so you get shade at the tent and open sun a few steps away.
There are 6 sites, first come, first served, on gravel access. Fishing is the main pastime and there is a boat launch, though it sits across the beach and getting a trailer down there may want a 4x4.
Horsefly is about 26 km out for groceries, with fuel at the Race Trac about the same distance, so fill the tank before you turn off. Klinne Lake is about 6 km away if you want a second body of water to try.
