SourceOn the west end of a small lake in the 100 Mile House area, Cougar Lake is a fishing site first and a campground second. A boat launch takes care of getting on the water, and the lake is about 0.2 km from the sites.
There are 3 spots, first come, first served, up a gravel road. Nothing fancy, which is what a lake this size calls for.
Canim Lake is the nearest town at about 18 km, and fuel is a longer errand at about 26 km, so roll in with enough to get back out again. Hathaway Lake is about 14 km away and Sulphurous Lake close to that, if you want to fish more than one lake on a trip.
