SourceHihium Lake has a reputation with anglers, and the south site is the one with the camping. Rainbow trout here run to a decent size, and an engine power limit applies on the lake under federal vessel rules, so check what your motor is rated at before you launch.
There are 11 sites, first come, first served, with a boat launch, in the Clinton area. The road in is gravel, so give yourself daylight for the last stretch.
Skeetchestn is about 30 km away and fuel about 31 km, so everything you need should be in the truck before you load up and start the drive in.
