SourceScuitto Lake Recreation Site no longer allows off road vehicles inside its boundaries, so quads, dirt bikes and side by sides have to stay outside the site. If you camp to be near water rather than engines, that is the appeal.
The 14 sites are first come, first served, at $15 a night on gravel, with a boat launch down at the water.
Monte Creek is about 17 km away, though the closest fuel is nearer at about 11 km. Campbell Lake is about 3 km off, the Lafarge ORV area about 11 km for anyone who did bring a machine, and Kamloops riding, 272 trails, is about 19 km away.
