About this site
SourceThe draw here is the view: Wapta Falls seen from across the valley, without the walk. The trail to the falls themselves is on the other side of the river, off a different turn from the Trans Canada Highway in Yoho National Park, so do not plan to hike there from your tent.
The two sites are first come, first served, off gravel, and user-maintained. No amenities are on record, so come self-contained.
Fuel is about 13 km away and Nicholson about 24 km, which makes this an easy overnight rather than an expedition. Faeder Lake is about 6 km off.
