SourcePaul Creek is a small treed site off the Beaverfoot Forest Service Road in the Golden area, with fishing listed and not much else claimed for it. That suits people who want trees, a creek and no company.
One site, first come, first served, on gravel. It is user-maintained, so leave it cleaner than you found it.
Spillimacheen is about 14 km away and fuel at the Race Trac roughly 20 km, so handle both errands before you head up the forest road. Floe Lake sits about 9 km off, and the Floe Lake / Ball Pass trailhead about 16 km.
