SourceOn the Elk River in the Elkford area, this small partly treed site looks out at meadows and the avalanche chutes on the slopes above. Fishing is the main draw.
Four sites, first come, first served, reached on gravel.
Supplies are far off: Elkford and its Race Trac are both about 56 km back down the road, so arrive with a full tank and enough food for the trip. Lower Elk Lake is about 6 km away.
