About this site
SourceWhat looks like a lake here is a reservoir, and Thirsk Lake behaves like one: the water level moves with the season, and fencing limits where you can reach the shore. Fishing is the main activity, with electric motors only on the water.
Six sites, first come, first served, on gravel, and user-maintained. The water sits just below camp.
Bankeir is about 10 km away, but the nearest fuel, the Elkhart Gas Station, is roughly 22 km, so top up before you head up out of Summerland.
