About this site
SourceAnglers and hunters keep Stringer Lake on their list, and the drive is the filter: obscure backroads and a very rough last stretch that wants a proper 4x4. Trailers of any kind are out, so it is a truck camper or a tent.
The 2 sites are first come, first served, and the site is user maintained. The lake is steps from the tent. Snowmobilers use the area in winter.
Jellicoe is about 21 km away and the Trading Post about the same, and there is nothing closer, so go in loaded.
