About this site
SourceAnglers and hunters use Lake La Mare, and the camping suits tents and small truck campers rather than anything with length to it. One site sits at the south end of the lake and two more on the north side.
All 3 are first come, first served, and the access is rated 4x4. The Burkholder Trail starts here and runs about 6.5 km one way.
Moha is about 12 km away, but fuel is a long way out at roughly 38 km, so fuel up long before the turnoff. Burkholder Lake is about 5 km off.
