SourceInflow winds pick up on Harrison Lake through the hottest part of the day, and Cascade Peninsula sits in a bay that is sheltered from them. It is a medium sized forested site with a boat launch, used by boaters, anglers and hikers.
Getting there is the catch. Access has been improved but it still wants four wheel drive. The 25 sites are first come, first served.
Sq'ewá:lxw / Skawahlook and a Husky are both about 15 km away, so that is the last stop for food and fuel. Harrison Hot Springs is about 15 km out, and Barnet Lake about 5 km.
