SourceChehalis River Recreation Site sits in mature timber beside a river with a serious steelhead reputation, and anglers set the tone here. One site sits across the road, right on the river's edge.
The site runs 57 first come, first served sites at $25 a night, with a boat launch below. It is a working fishing camp more than a beach resort, and better for it.
The location is unusually convenient: fuel is under a kilometre away, Sts'a'í:les / Sts'ailes is about 2 km, and Harrison Hot Springs is about a 10 km drive for the end of a cold day on the water.
